Digital camera users with SmartMedia drives have for a long time enjoyed the advantages of directly importing photos into the Casablanca.

The Card Drive (former 6 in 1 Card Drive) now extends this function to all the other standard card systems. The small device is connected via USB and is additionally capable of reading/writing Sony Memory Sticks, Compact Flash 1 and 2 (IBM Microdrive), Secure Digital (SD) and MultiMedia (MMC) cards.

The Card Drive (multicardreader) device is a particularly handy piece of equipment, since many modern digital camcorders are capable of saving high-resolution photos onto these kinds of cards whereas the standard SmartMedia cards can only be used in purely photographic cameras.

To work with the Card Drive Photo-Transfer 1.5 has to be installed (or Photo-Studio).

On a Bogart SE system the "Card-Drive" software is not required anymore to support USB-photo devices.
